services rendered by ACT Logistics; however we invite you to

Domestic/ Regional Courier Services
The fact that Namibia does not have a big manufacturing base, the
focus is mostly on inbound rather than outbound logistics. In the
range of courier services, we offer the following:
• Same Day Service
The same day service requires immediate response for the next
available flight for any situation. ACT Same Day Courier
specialises in urgent and time-critical consignments on a
door-to-door, dedicated vehicle basis. The service is 24 hours/ 7
days a week.
The fleet is modern and diverse, offering an instant response with
realistic despatch and delivery timings.
Each movement can be confirmed with an e-mailed confirmation and
scanned Proof of Delivery.
• Overnight Service
Overnight service is a very popular service, preferred by most of
the wholesalers and delivers any consignment the next business day
for urgent shipments.
Due to the costs and dimension restrictions with air transport we
also make use of road freight services to ensure we keep our
promises. Targeted at Business, Industry and the Namibian Groupage
sector, ACT specialises in next working day delivery or collection
of single or multi-unit consignments throughout most of Namibia.
This service also benefits from all the standard Premium add-ons
such as AM, PM, and Timed. We offer a COD option, plus the
facility to collect or deliver hazardous goods subject to class
and transport category.

• 2 Day Service
The 2 day service is an economical alternative for last minute or
overlooked air freight shipments delivered by the second business
day either via airfreight or dedicated road freight.

• 3-5 Day Service
The 3-5 day service is a time definite service at cost competitive
prices for the bigger consignments and again with this option we
use a dedicated road freight service.

International Courier and Airfreight Service
The International Couriers and Airfreight Service are performed in
conjunction with our global partners and agency networks. It is a
personalized service to fill all of the complex requirements for
global distribution. We provide complete documentation preparation
to make international shipping as easy as possible.

Air freight logistics have become a crucial factor in supply chain

Customs Clearing Services
Although we are based in Windhoek, our licences cover all points
of entry be it road, air or sea into Namibia. We have a network of
local agents ensuring that our service delivery promises are kept.
Our wide experience extends to almost every type of commodity
segment – general cargo, project cargo, bulk freight, precious
cargo, and more. This is one of ACT’s core capabilities, and lends
enormous strength to our integrated logistics services that cater
to supply chain outsourcing needs.
Our service offerings include:

Warehousing & Distribution
From simple transit storage to value-adding high-end in-warehouse
services, our W&D capabilities today enable various IT, Automobile
and FMCG companies to successfully distribute their products
across the country.
We have recently expanded the warehouse to 760 m2. The new
facilities, and upgraded systems, laced with service feature
enhancements, will in combination maintain ACT’s position as one
of the preferred logistics chain partners.
Sea freight
Although we are based in Windhoek, we are able to handle any sea
freight requirements. Our experienced staff has satisfied our
client’s needs for a number of years.
We are able to import and export you’re international shipments
across the globe. Timely services have seen ACT not only improve
their reputation among competitors, but seen customers improve
lead times.
Dangerous Goods
Namibia’s need for companies transporting dangerous goods is
growing fast. With the mining sector growing by the day and
Namibia’s reputation for good hunting, the sector has grown
immensely.
ACT Logistics has been handling dangerous goods shipments close to
a decade. Qualified staff is key in this area, and we have met the
requirements to become an IATA accredited agent.
The Atomic Energy and Radiation Protection Act of 2005 for
radioactive shipments has been implemented on 16 January 2012, and
we are licensed by the Namibian Radiation Protection Authority to
transport radioactive shipments.
